Our Client, one of the largest Oil and Gas producers in the North Sea set themselves an internal challenge of hitting or exceeding production targets in it’s North Sea portfolio of assets for 100 days in a row.
This had never been achieved before and it was in no doubt a daunting prospect which required the buy-in from hundreds of employees and the entire supply chain.
The opportunity - the entire business looked at how each department, team or project could help contribute to this goal with many new and innovative ideas from materials management, to maintenance through to H&S Incident inspection.
The end result was that the 100 day challenge was met, indeed smashed with production figures never seen before in the region. Every area of the business contributed and felt part of a collective team effort.
In this case study we have highlighted some of the improvement initiatives that contributed to what was a remarkable collective improvement event.
